This Monday we welcome Briscoe from the Growers Exchange as our guest host on #gardenchat. The #gardenchat
topic will be on herbs you can use to naturally repel pesky insects. Because of the
mild winter and early, increased temperatures, many insects didn't die off in a
freeze over the winter. We're already seeing mosquitoes and ticks in our area,
which will mean a boom in their populations later this summer since they've had
added time to multiply. Instead of using harsh chemical sprays that contain
DEET, there are lots of natural ways that herbs can offer a non toxic
alternative.
Be sure to check out their website with a blog filled with herb information at : The Growers Exchange.
Please submit your questions for this #gardenchat event on this blog post. You will be the first to be answered during the 9-10 p.m. ET event.
