In my Zone 8A climate we grow outdoors year-round, and I have just finished planting the pansies, viola, parsley, flowering cabbage and ornamental kale in my flower beds.
But I also bring the outdoors inside with basil and lemon balm carried over along with some of my favorite coleus, not to mention houseplants! thanks for being the guest host on #gardenchat tonight!
I also live in a Zone 8A climate where we can grow outdoors year-round. I haven't got anything put out yet this fall with all that has been happening with my mother's and my health, but I do have a lot of house plants and also herbs inside and out. The herbs are probably the most enjoyable right now, since they can even make the store bought ingredients pop with flavor. One fruit that I would love to grow year-round though is the tomato. See you all tonight!
We grow year round here in NC. We just picked up our fall/winter plants today. Violas, pansies, dianthus and mums. The raised beds are filled with spinach, beets, radishes, lettuce, kale and other cole crops. Like Geri, we also have many houseplants that need to come innow, especially the various angel wing begonias. Thanks for hosting #Gardenchat tonight, and thanks for the giveaway. Looking forward to the chat. Tom/@SolakNC
I'm halfway through my first year of growing in our new zone 7B. So far, the sunflowers are the most prolific growing thing in the garden. Unless you count the squirrels eating my veggies..they're growing fat off my produce.
I enjoy growing tropicals and herbs indoors year round. I also grow cacti and succulents indoors year round.
I love to grow herbs all year long.
